You don’t have to take all your bags with you. Whether you need to transfer or just spend a few days in The Netherlands, we’ll be happy to hold your baggage for you. It’s safe and secure. Simply drop any items at the 7-day storage lockers close to the gates or bring your larger items to the Baggage Storage area, located between Arrivals 1 and 2. Items can be stored at the Baggage Storage area for a maximum of 30 days. ## Lockers close to the gates You’re welcome to leave your hand baggage in the lockers, like trolleys, small bags or hand bags. The lockers are 40x40 cm and have a depth of 70 cm. You can use the lockers for up to 7 days. We accept many forms of payment by debit or credit cards, including Dutch PIN, Visa, Visa Electron, UP (Chinese Union Pay), MasterCard, JCB, Diners, American Express, V PAY and Maestro. Renting a locker costs € 8 per 24hrs. You can find the lockers after security in the transfer area. Meditation Centre

It’s easy to feel lost in the bustle of an airport. The Meditation Centre is a non-denominational and interfaith space, where you can pray, meditate, or just relax in silence. There are also regular services and an on-site library for your enjoyment. ## Attend a church service Don’t worry about missing your local church service if you’re flying on a Sunday. The Meditation Centre conducts a church service at 11.00am. Services for different denominations are held on a rotational basis. This includes Anglican, Roman-Catholic and Protestant services, which are all held in English. It’s fine to leave early if you need to catch your flight, too. __Arrange your own group service__ If you’d like to hold your own group service, you are more than welcome to do so. Please either contact the airport chaplain in advance, or talk to the volunteer on duty in the centre. __Read in our library__ Holy books from different faiths are available in many languages in our library. __Talk to our chaplain__ If you need someone to talk to, you can always contact the Airport Chaplaincy at +31 20 601 4751, or by email at [luchthavenpastoraat@schiphol.nl](mailto:luchthavenpastoraat@schiphol.nl). ## Support when you need it If you unexpectedly face emotional problems surrounding your departure or arrival at the airport, the airport chaplaincy is here to help. Smoking area

Smoking is not permitted in the terminals at Schiphol, both before and after security checks. Smoking is also prohibited in the parking garages. Although Schiphol is smoke-free, smoking remains possible on Jan Dellaertplein, but we are considering moving these smoking zones. Tobacco is still for sale at the airport, where we closely follow legal guidelines.
