Come build the future of travel
Travel is one of the few things people genuinely look forward to all year. The planning - the scattered booking emails, the chaotic group chats, the “who paid for what” spreadsheets - is not. We are fixing that, and we are looking for one more person who wants to fix it with us.
Why join a tiny travel startup?
Because this is the stage where everything you do matters.
Shape it from day one
We are a very small, early-stage team. You will not inherit a roadmap - you will help write it, and see your decisions in users’ hands the same week.
Own it end to end
No handoffs, no committees. You take an idea from “what if” to shipped product - database schema to final UI polish - and it is yours.
Work on joy
Travel is the thing people look forward to all year. We get to remove the annoying parts and amplify the fun ones. It is a good way to spend a workday.
Now boarding: one open seat
Product direction and engineering, rolled into one role. We call it a Builder.
What you will do
You will take features from rough idea to fully shipped product. We are a tiny team, so this role is a true blend of product direction and hands-on engineering: you talk to users, decide what needs to be built, design the architecture, and write the code to make it happen.
You own delivery end to end - from the database schema to the final UI polish - across our mobile app, web app, and API.
What we are looking for
- You have a deep passion for travel and consider yourself a true traveler.
- You understand the travel space and the real pain points of planning trips.
- You thrive in ambiguous areas and can figure out the right path forward without a clear map.
- You leverage AI tools daily to get 10x output and accelerate your work.
- You have strong full-stack engineering ability and can comfortably build across the entire stack.
- You have a sharp sense of product taste and care deeply about the user experience.
- You are biased toward action, ship fast, and take extreme ownership of your work.
The hiring itinerary
Naturally, our hiring process is a trip itinerary. Four stops, about a week.
Say hello
A 30-minute intro call. You tell us about a trip you loved and a product you admire; we tell you exactly where Tripmojo is and where it is going.
Build something together
A small, real problem from our actual backlog - not a whiteboard puzzle. Use every AI tool you like; that is how we work too.
Talk product and ambition
A conversation about taste, direction, and what you would build first. We are hiring a co-creator, not a ticket-taker.
Offer and first commit
We move fast. If it is a match, you could be shipping to real travelers within your first week.
Ready for takeoff?
Send a short note and whatever best represents your work - GitHub, a live project, a portfolio, something you shipped last weekend - to contact@tripmojo.ai.
