Issuer notes

Sources: General T&C PDF dated 09-Sep-2026 (carries the 1-Oct-2026 spend-gate change); product page fetched 18-Sep-2026 ('AIRPORT LOUNGES Effective 1 October 2026, enjoy 2 complimentary domestic lounge visits per calendar quarter upon reaching eligible spends in the preceding quarter'); card-types page fetched 18-Sep-2026 still states the ungated 8-per-year benefit. T&C: 'Platinum Travel customers will not get lounge access to American Express Proprietary Lounge' (no Centurion). Visits do not carry forward; Rs. 2 authorisation on the Amex EDC terminal. Amex hosts TWO copies of the lounge list: legal-disclosures/Platinum-Travel-Lounge-List.pdf dated 17-Sep-2026 (24 'Available', 8 'Not Available', Mumbai T1-C 'Non-Operational', TFS Intl BLR 'Not Available') and legal/other-disclosures/Platinum-Travel-Lounge-List.pdf dated 18-Aug-2026 (Mumbai T1-C and TFS Intl BLR 'Available') - the newer 17-Sep file is recorded here. Amex lounge finder per-card and per-airport pages (https://www.americanexpress.com/en-in/travel/lounges/<card>/ and /<card>/DEL/, /<card>/BOM/) return HTTP 404 for this card slug (checked 18-Sep-2026); only /the-platinum-card resolves for en-IN, so this card is not in the Global Lounge Collection (no Centurion Lounge, no Delta Sky Club, no Escape/Lufthansa partner lounges).
