Odisha Tourism's official Konark destination page identifies Bhubaneswar as the nearest airport, Puri Junction as the nearest railway station, and road links from Puri, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack. This supports two flexible bases: Puri for the coast or Bhubaneswar for the main air gateway.

Choose a refundable stay in Puri or Bhubaneswar until a 2026 programme tells you which evenings matter. Konark itself can reduce the return transfer if suitable accommodation is available, but verify the property and local transport directly.

A 3 to 5 night trip is enough to hold one or more conditional festival evenings alongside Konark, Puri, or Bhubaneswar. Do not schedule a fixed departure immediately after an unconfirmed performance.

If the 2026 edition is confirmed

Recheck the official edition page for the exact venue, programme, start times, ticket method, and access controls. Then move one or two festival evenings from optional to fixed and keep the remaining days flexible.
