• Rajasthan sequence: Start in Jaipur for Diwali on 8 November, then travel overland to Pushkar for 17 to 24 November instead of returning to Delhi.
• Conditional eastern route: Hornbill is confirmed for 1 to 10 December. If Odisha Tourism confirms Konark for its annual 1 to 5 December pattern in 2026, the events would overlap. Allow a full transfer day between the Odisha coast and Kohima and shorten at least one stay.
