Alternative

The best TripCase alternative

TripCase was Sabre’s free travel organizer: bookings made through a travel agent flowed in automatically from the GDS, which made it the default itinerary app for agency-booked travellers for a decade.

TripCase shut down on April 1, 2025

Sabre sunset TripCase globally on April 1, 2025 - the apps stopped working and were pulled from the stores - and deleted all traveller trip data from July 1, 2025. Only the agency-facing document-delivery tools survived.

What TripCase did well

  • Agency bookings appeared automatically - no forwarding, no setup - which nothing else replicated as cleanly.
  • Free, cross-platform and reliable for its core job: one timeline of your reservations with flight alerts.

Where the organizer model stops

  • It no longer exists - and its model was pure organizer: it mirrored what your agent booked and never touched planning, groups or expenses.

The real difference

TripCase users lost the best hands-off booking feed in the business, and no successor gets agency bookings straight from the GDS. The practical replacement flow is email: your agent’s confirmation and e-ticket emails land in your inbox, and Tripmojo turns them into the same live timeline - automatically from Gmail, or by forwarding from any other address - then adds the layer TripCase never had: a planned itinerary around those bookings, group sharing, expenses and an offline document vault.

Where Tripmojo falls short

  • Tripmojo is new. TripIt has been parsing confirmation emails since 2006; we ship parser fixes weekly, but you will still occasionally meet a booking email we misread and have to correct by hand.
  • Automatic booking detection only works with Gmail. On Outlook or any other inbox you forward or upload bookings yourself - there is no auto-scan for non-Google email yet.
  • There is no loyalty-program tooling: Tripmojo does not track points balances, monitor fares for refund claims, or watch seat maps the way TripIt Pro does.

Moving on from TripCase?

Connect Gmail and your bookings assemble themselves - or forward any confirmation email. Everything is free: AI planning, group votes, flight alerts, expense splitting and an offline document vault.

What happened to TripCase?

Sabre discontinued TripCase on April 1, 2025, and deleted stored trip data from July 1, 2025. The app is gone from both stores; only Sabre’s agency document-delivery tools continue.

Can Tripmojo import my old TripCase trips?

Past trips are unrecoverable - Sabre deleted TripCase data in mid-2025. For new trips, forward your agent’s confirmation emails to Tripmojo or connect Gmail, and bookings build into a live itinerary automatically.
