What Tripsy does well
- The nicest-looking itinerary of the four, with genuinely native apps across every Apple device including Watch and Vision Pro.
- Trip templates and activity suggestions take some blank-page pain out of organizing.
- Sharing works well for families already inside the Apple ecosystem.
Where the organizer model stops
- Apple-only. A group trip with one Android traveller cannot live in Tripsy - and most group trips have one. (Android and web are "coming soon" on their site, as they have been for a while.)
- Planning is still manual: templates dress up the blank page, but you fill in every day yourself.
- The organizer features you want most - document storage, expense tracking - sit behind Pro at $59.99/yr, the most expensive subscription of the four.
The real difference
If everyone on your trip carries an iPhone and you want the prettiest possible record of a trip you have already planned, Tripsy earns its keep. Tripmojo’s difference is upstream and sideways: it drafts the plan itself, it runs on Android and the web so the whole group can actually join, and the things Tripsy charges $59.99/yr for - documents, expenses - are free.
Where Tripmojo falls short
- Tripmojo is new. TripIt has been parsing confirmation emails since 2006; we ship parser fixes weekly, but you will still occasionally meet a booking email we misread and have to correct by hand.
- Automatic booking detection only works with Gmail. On Outlook or any other inbox you forward or upload bookings yourself - there is no auto-scan for non-Google email yet.
- There is no loyalty-program tooling: Tripmojo does not track points balances, monitor fares for refund claims, or watch seat maps the way TripIt Pro does.
